For Children

The Grand Junction Public Library offers programs for children of all ages

• Summer Reading

• After School Program  
•  Wednesdays when school is out early the program will be at 1 p.m.

• Items in the children's department -W

  • fiction books (board books - young adult books)
  • non-fiction books (board books - young adult books)
  • Audio books - some with book
  • DVD's
  • magazines
  • for use in the library - puzzles, and play tables (blocks, coloring, etc.)
  • Wii (use of the Wii is limited to library patrons with no overdue materials or fines)
  • art display made by our young friends (any child may bring art for display)
